I’m just like you, except exactly the same

What makes you stand out from most people?
I don't love this question. In a lot of ways I am most people. I’m the way people get excited to pet a puppy on the street. I’m the way a simple compliment makes a person’s day. I’m the way bad weather can feel so good. I’m the way people regret things and struggle with the consequences. I’m the way people gather over food, cry when they’re frustrated, want to have meaning. I’m sneaking peanut butter M&Ms into the theater, charging my phone overnight, dreading online order returns. I’m replaying embarrassing moments at night, I’m a struggle meal, waiting in winding lines for rollercoasters, and the way people point out horses while in the car.
It can become boring to highlight our disjunction.
