Bubblegum, Female Juniors, and what’s in your ears?

The other day I was reminded of the scent of bubblegum, and I think it’s chic. I’ve been strictly winter mint (spearmint for exams) since middle school. But I think I’m suited for a change.
The concept of a female junior is odd, but why. Why is it funny? Because a woman would never do that. First of all, most of us traditionally don’t keep our last names after marriage, so it wouldn’t feel genuine. If Jane Doe married John Smith and gave birth to Jane Smith Jr., would that feel phony or fraudulent? That little girl’s mom didn’t grow up with that name, so does it carry the same meaning? And would it even be replicable for a 3rd? That issue aside, if you’re a woman reading this- hi - and would you do that? I picture sweet Ella Jr. running around the house because I wanted an exact duplicate of myself? Or because my name is so good? Just thought provoking.
Lastly, do you listen while you go? In the car, on a walk, at the gym? Are your earbuds or headphones practically adhered to your ears? Right now I definitely prefer them to be. Music or podcasts? In the car: music, everywhere else: podcasts- because I like to sing out loud. Once the spring is in full swing, I hope to leave my Airpods at home some days. Listening to people talking, the sounds of outdoors, and my own thoughts can be beneficial (I assume). Give the brain a break from consumption, although we all crave it.
